Made in a bright, lean style, our fifth vintage of Chardonnay presents layers of flavor consisting of apricot, Asian pear, lime, apple and a light amount of caramel. This is an elegant expression of Chardonnay.
The Wine
We are excited to present our fifth vintage of Chardonnay, which is one of our most balanced expressions of wine upon release. With equal parts of oak, fruit and acid, our 2018 Napa Valley Chardonnay presents a complete profile that’s ready to drink now. As you enjoy the wine, you’ll notice pronounced notes of apricot, granny smith apples, Asian pear, lime, and more subtle caramel and vanilla characteristics from the neutral French oak barrels. There is also a saline character, which is the result of the wine’s elevated acidity and 13.8% alcohol.
