2016 Avril Taylor
Our first vintage of Avril Taylor Rosé is exactly what a rose should be. This rosé begs for a warm, sunny day with its zesty acidity, dry profile, brilliant light-coral color, delicate body, and a touch of weight on the palate from skin contact on the grapes. Specifically, this wine displays notes of fresh picked strawberries, honeydew melon, kiwi, peach, and sour cherry. The fresh profile of this wine leaves you wanting another sip, so make sure that you have enough to share!

The 2016 vintage extends the streak for remarkable vintages in the Napa Valley! While yields were up in 2016 compared to 2015, the Napa Valley recorded quality, but below-average, tonnage overall. The 2016 growing season was a drought year that avoided shatter in the spring, experienced a moderate summer, and then produced a significant amount of rain in October Thankfully, most producers had their crops secured by the time that the rains showed up.
