2011 Avril Taylor
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The Wine
Our 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon blend was hand-crafted from one of the premiere vineyards in Napa Valley. Sitting just above the fog line, these grapes soak up an abundance of sunlight during the growing season to ensure complete phenolic development and a complex flavor profile. Keeping our production small is paramount to retaining character, personality and a sense of place with our wine.

Our Notes:

Winter 2018
Upon release, our 2011 Cabernet was trying to find its rhythm. The blend (80% CS, 12% CF, 8%M) still needed time to come together, and the wine needed time in decanter to show its personality. With a little bit of aging, our 2011 finally developed into an absolutely beautiful wine. Notes of blackberry and dark-red fruit compliment a silky texture and a balanced finish. We’re pleasantly surprised how this wine continues to improve. This is an underdog and the epitome of why we love wine. Drink this wine now through 2025-2030.
