2013 Avril Taylor
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The Wine
Our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a red-fruit profile, soft tannins, and wonderful balance. Defined notes of fresh cherry, black raspberry, cranberry, and cassis resonate across the palate. Inspired by the wines from the Right-Bank of Bordeaux, this vintage showcases a round mid-palate, soft texture, and persistent finish. Our 2013 vintage is a blend of 92.8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6.8% Merlot, and 0.8% Cabernet Franc.

Drink or Hold?
Our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has a wonderful vibrancy and freshness that makes it approachable now and worth of 10+ years of aging. This is a very versatile wine that will accommodate for a wide range of food pairings.

For long-term wine storage, we recommend a storage temperature of 55-58 degrees fahrenheit. Since each individual has their own palate, it is important to note that during the aging process the fruit-forward component of this wine will deteriorate slowly each year. If you prefer a more fruit-forward profile, drink this wine now.
